The Glasfloss Z-Line Series MR-11 air filters are extended-surface pleated-media filters. It is usually recommended to change the filter every 3 months. The filter media is composed of 100% synthetic fibers and is pleated in a tapered radial pattern. To maintain the integrity of the pleats, a heavy-duty, recycled expanded metal reinforcement is laminated to the air-exit side of the media using a thermo-setting adhesive. The expanded metal is galvanized to prevent rust and corrosion. The pleated cartridge is bonded to the inner perimeter of the outer frame. The encasing frame is made from a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board containing post-consumer material. The frame face is internally laminated to the pleated cartridge apexes. Glasfloss Z-Line Series MR-11 filters comply with U.L. Standard 900 and can withstand temperatures up to 180°F. These filters are rated with a MERV 11 according to the ANSI/ASHRAE 52.2 Test Standard.
